Hello guys, im back. I'm so tired of going here and there. i wanted to stay in my room, in my house in marjon till its Raya. My family's gone..they've went back to Malaysia last Sunday. Am i sad? I don't know. More to relief maybe. Relieved because i don't have to worry about all the plannings anymore and i don't have to carry that responsibility to look after them here. Not that i see them as a burden, no, i don't mean that. I'm happy to accept them and have them here with me of course, but you know me, being almost a perfectionist, i deem everything to be near perfect and perfect things need scrutinize planning right? The timing, the places, the foods, everything. I want the best for them that's why im so fussy about all these things. Well, maybe i don't act like one, but may way of showing it is different. Who cares? hu...

But then just now when i arrived from London, seeing the condition of my room..i can still feel the aura of my mom and sis who used to sleep here.. yeah..quite sad tho..they're not here anymore.. =,( i have to sleep alone tonight...i don't want to cry because i knew if i started crying it would be hard for me to stop. i would be too emotional then and can't do anything else. enough said. Ramadhan is approaching and am i ready? Please show me your hidayah and your guidance ya Allah..purify my heart and thoughts so that i can serve only you ya allah..forgive me for my wrong doings as im only your forgetful and weak slave who repeatedly do sins against your will..set aside my ego and pride and show me the way to humbleness and gentleness ya Allah..for i don't have anyone else but only you that i can ask for help and guidance..aminn..

Forgive me my friends if i ever hurt you physically, verbally, or emotionally..i don't meant them and at those time perhaps i was too emotional..too much driven by my nafsu instead of my aqal.. forgive me..for im only an imperfect human who can't escape from making mistakes...

Lots of love,
hani iryani

Zurich, Switzerland

Yes, Zurich Switzerland was our next destination after a week in Spain and Italy. If you have noticed, all of our destinations are the capital city of the country and the reason is because that's where the main railway station is and most of the capital city should be interesting right? hihi...We arrived in Zurich a bit late which was almost midnight and after considering all the consequences that we would face, we decided to take a cab instead of tram to our hostel, Bikers' Home. So we went....we showed our hostel's address to the cab's drivers and to our astonishments, one driver has to seek advice and opinions from another driver, and that driver has to seek opinions from another driver, and this went on for almost 5 cab's drivers there! OMG, what's happening here?? Is our hostel is sooo secluded that none of them knew where it is?? We're started panicking and worried. It's almost midnight and we're tired, and we're alone in a strange place surrounded by strangers. Finally, one of the cab's driver phoned the hostel and ask for direction to the hostel. phew. slamat taxi drivers baek2 belaka.slamat duet hp ktorg juge.hehe...

As there are 9 of us, we took 3cabs with a guy in each cab to protect us girls la knunnye kot2 kne culik nntikan..sme guys tau silat, insyallah slamat...hehe.. then the cabs started their journeys...again, we started to panicked when the meters naek macam air! tup tup tup die naek. Da arrived late at night at Zurich, ktorg redha je la..nk wat the cab masuk tmpt cm Kg Baru...seryesly! Lagila ktorg panicked! We spoke in Malay in that cab (so that the taxi driver won't understand us)

Me: "Ma, Faiz, manela die nk bawak kte ni...gelap smacam je tmpt Kg Baru pon ade..isk..nk jual
kte ke?"
Ma: "hahaha! tula pasal. i pon x tau la hani..redha je la kalo kne jual pon..Mak, abah, maapkan yana.."

hehe..there's some of the conversations dat's going on between us. funny eh? mmg pon! And suddenly, the cab stop. And yes. we had arrived at our Hostel!! Kalo tgk, sbijik cm ktorg ni balik kampung nk beraye. dgn tanah merahnye...umah kayu cm chalet..smapi plak tgh esok nk raye je..seryes! haha...then, we end up each have to pay almost 10 Swiss Franc for the taxi.isk T_T. And then, we dragged our trolley bags to the reception....and surprise surprise!! Guess who welcomed us? Yeah...two tattooed guys were drinking beers and playing cards at the table at the lounge and the receptionist himself! hahah...we're all went scared and prayed in our hearts...what's is this place? takotnye org2 kt cni...ahaha...yesh..but, surprisingly, the tattooed guy welcomed us dgn friendlynye, siap tlg angkat my luggage lagik! haha...he's very2 kind indeed, smile never escaped his face, and he's willing to help us with almost everything! yesh! And they are all i think bikers...the ones who rode all the big motorbikes..cmtu la org2 yg stay and jage hostel nie..bdan besa2 sume...tattooed..rmbut pnjang...hehe..but hey, don't judge a book by it's cover! hati baek....sgt baek....sye suke mereka =) And our rooms are not bad either. Some of the duvet covers are filled with flowery patterns and some cartoons patterns. how cute...hehe..bikers decorated their hostel like sweet...hikhik ;p

Yes, some of ud didn't feel comfortable staying there. We have to walk quite far from our rooms to get to the loo like at Asrama and along the way we have to walk pass an alley which has several doors of other rooms. And from my observation, the majority of people who stayed there are guys. not the usual guys, but the bikers.huhue...but i don't mind that. For me, its not a problem as long as they are nice people and not racists. And i still remembered one night after i took my bath, when i was out from the bathroom, the tattooed guy that i mention before is right there in front of the bathroom waiting to get inside. Dalam hati tkot jgak la, i sorang kt ctu, len sume lelaki. hu..then, i snyum je, n tros jalan nk balik blek. Then the tattoed guy saw me, smiled, and sua tgn nk salam smbil ckp "Goodnight madam! Goodnight madam!" hehe..i was quite surprised at first but then i just angguk, wished him gudnite back, and walked hands r full with my toilettries u know. hu..trasa dilayan mcam queen plak kt cni.xpenah2 di wish sdemikian before at mana2 hostel! =D

The next day we went to Rheinfall which is about 2hours from Zurich. Along the way, we saw beautiful sceneries, beaches, and lakes..yes, Switzerland sgt2 lawa...for a naturalist like me, im sure u'll fall in love with Switzerland. Rheinfall was a very2 beautiful place indeed. It's one of the tourist spot there and tmpt kwsn tdahan hujan if im not mistaken. ala2 Niagara Falls pon ade..x cye tgk gmba kt bawah nie...We spent quite sometimes there, rode a boat to cross the lake and then we headed straight to titi terpanjang kt Switzerland...cantek.....

I'm sure u guys must be wondering whether we've been skiing on d mountain Alps in Swiss or not rite? hu..the answer is NO.. we didn't have money to do so.. isk T_T.. the lowest mountain will costs us 50euros just to get up there by train...but since it's summer, there won't be any snow on top of this lowest mountain. And the highest mountain which definitely will has snow and we can ski on it will cost us more than duet la sayang, next time lah kte naek ye...Zurich and Rheinfall were not bad..hehe..below are the pictures of us in Zurich city....cantik juga, tp malang, tme we all round2 the town it was Sunday, and ALL the shops were closed..isk..sadis sungguh.pnat sye sungguh2 nk shopping. last2 shopping souvenirs and swiss knife je..hehe..

Apakah tuhan menciptakan kejahatan?

I've cme across this story whilst reading someone's blog. let me share it with u.. :)

Apakah Tuhan menciptakan segala yang ada? Apakah kejahatan itu ada? Apakah Tuhan menciptakan kejahatan?

Cruise Roma
From Granada, we took train to Barcelona. We have to take the night train because it takes almost 12 hours from Granada to Barcelona by train. Then, with people unnoticed that we actually didn't bathe the next morn (there's no shower in d train!), we spent our time walking and loitering around La Rambla area..for me, ma, and k.wani, it was our 2nd time there. Nothing have changed..the street performers are still the same and were still there..there's even more the new captured my attention and thus i took a photo with him! hihi..scary woo..We walked from one end to the others and then stopped to have our brunch which was a pair of Dunkin Donuts each.hehe.. makan donut tepi woo.. =)

After that, we search for the KFC because our friends told us that KFC in Barcelona is halal! With high hopes and rumbling stomachs we continue our food hunting. At the end it turns out that the KFC there is NOT HALAL. We did asked the staff at the KFC of course. isk...keciwa lagi.. [T_T] Then our next alternative is to eat we went to Carefore to buy some drinks and snacks to eat on cruise and then proceed to Kebab's house to tapau some kebab. hu...After that we went to take a bus to the Cruise Roma office to check in to our Cruise. Believe it or not, we have to wait for almost 30 mins for the bus to come and pay 2euros for a journey that would only took us 15mins walking. Dem it! If we knew the office is just nearby we would have walk instead! Hey, 2 euros pon duet jugak tau! membazir tul.ish. Luckily afterward we don't have to pay for the bus which took us to the Barcelona harbour. The bus was quite full and full with Italian citizens (if im not mistaken by listening to their conversations and looking at their fine looking figures.hehe). I think all of them want to get back to their country. hu..Then when we reached the port, the gate was closed. The bus driver honked for several times, no i mean a lot of times but there's no one turns up to open the gate for us! The bus driver keep honking for about 10mins and then when he lost his patience, he himself get off and open the gate. All of the passengers in the bus (including me) were so fed up with the gate's guards whoever they are. And then, ble the bus driver already opened the gate, barula the guards at the gate tkedek2 dtg nek moto nk bukak gate. WTF! Some of the back passengers in the bus were knocking on the bus windows and were swearing at the irresponsible guards. padan muke. huh. What a day!

Next, we have to queue to get on the cruise. yeah, with the sun, the heat, the people queuing, the sweats, the 'unbathed' us, we did need some patience to bear with all those front of us there were these 2 drop-dead gorgeous guys queuing to get on the same cruise as us! They are young and gorgeous! Actually they rode in the same bus that we took before. Of course i'd noticed them before. hoho..Me and suemay cop one each and we kept eyeing and following them until we get on the cruise. haha..but i xdela follow and tgk yg obvious gler tu..wat biase2 je..haha..

Then after we got our cabins, i took a long bath (yela after 1day x mandi) and ate my fillet-o-fish burger which i had bought with me before. Then, after isyak all of us go up to the restaurant on the top level of the cruise to have our dinner.. which were kebabs that we tapau first we were thinking of ordering some foods at the restaurant, but it turns out that they only serves drinks and snacks. hu..The best part was when we were walking toward our table..There are already lots of people at the restaurant. and when we were walking toward our table, i noticed all eyes were on us! yes, on US! Suddenly i felt like a celebrity who won a Grammy Award and was walking on the red carpet.haha..but u know, it's usual. We're the only Muslims (i think so) on the cruise who wore head scarfs and there were 9 of us. 6 girls, 3guys. So, although i felt quite awkward when people were staring at us, but i kept on walking until we reached our table. Then we just acted normal and ate our kebab and chatted until midnite. haha..reminds me of maple in malaysia..missing..isk T_T. And yes, the 2 drop-dead gorgeous guys sat across of us and hihi..

The next morn, i was really excited to watch the sunrise, so after the Subuh prayer i went and knocked on my friends' cabins to wake them up and invited them to join me. Maybe we are a bit late coz the sun was already out a bit, but still, it still looks likes the sun had just rise :) Watching the sunrise on the cruise was like a dream comes true for me..i love sunrise and sunset..especially at the beach..i've watched sunrise before, but never was lovely...subhanallah..the clouds were so beautiful with the shades and stripes of orange, purple, yellow, grey..i'd wanted the time to stop...yeah, it happens that we're the only one on the top of the cruise that morning and others were the cabin crews who were cleaning the top level. I x kesah, yg penting i nk tgk sunrise! i asked them and they said it's ok. So we took photos like crazy and enjoyed our moments together until its about 8am. the sunrise at 6am. hu..then we got back to our cabins and continue our sleep..hihi..yeah..ngntuk seyh..

Luckily i woke up at 10 and was ready when we heard the announcement that we have to leave our cabins as the crews want to clean them up for the next passengers. We were due to reach Italy that noon. So, hastily my friends and i packed our luggages and rush to the waiting area. we reached Civitavechia at 3pm and then we took train to Rome. And know what, the 2guys were on the same train! whoa! panjang jodoh..hahaha ;p

me on cruise during sunrise

At Rome, we visited Colloseum but we didnt go in because we don't have spare money to spend just to look at piles of rocks. aha..just kidding..i was having my temper on that day..coz i was too tired and biasela..jln rmai2..msti ade msalah n salah faham i was really2 quite and had a sour guys..don't mean it ;p

kt mne ek..anglican city?

I wore my new bought blouse to Pisa. I bought the blouse for only 2euros! haha..very cheap meh..bli je la kan.haha ;p i also bought a pink leather handbag for myself..hihi..'s are some crazy photos that we took..

peluk jgn x peluk ;p

I bought a leather wallet for my dad and a leather purse for my mom in Florence whereas Edzlam bought 3leather handbags for his fiancee, his mother-in-law, and his mom! haha..blanje sakan kamu ye ed..xpe2, untung kb..hehe..And yes, when we were looking for the direction to our hostel, we got lost. So we stopped to ask this one auntie at a nearby park. You know what, when she saw my friend walking towards her, she turned her to face another direction. And even before my friend spoke anything, she already said that she didn't know and if u look at her face..omg, like she hates us loads..not a single smile.. but well, dats one of the things u must expected when u're here..some would have like you here..while the others will throw u that hatred looks..biasala..manusia..anyway, i believe that as long as we have good intention, we should bothers nothing. Let them think what they want as long as we know we are right and didnt do any wrong to them..kan? :)

In our hostel, again, there's a guy in our this fate? All of our dorms there must be a guy or two in it. ish. and He's Korean. We called him Jack..And having had Suemay and ma who are fans of Korean movies..paham2 je la ape jadi..Hobosaiyok!! hohoho...we chit-chatting until late night..and i was surprised when he told us that he is interested about Islam. He did asked lots of questions regarding my beloved religion and one of the the things that he likes is in Islam, men would be the leader in the family and the wife has to obeyed the husband. This is because, in Korea, wife would have more power than the husband. It's like the opposite from our ways. In Korea, the husband has to seek for the wife 's permission before deciding on anything and the wife will control the money..and Jack didn't like that...he didn't want to get married.hahaha...We invited him to our place in plymouth before we depart. Hopefully we'll meet him again and then he can cook us some Korean foods! yeah!! he likes cooking.hehe..

tgk bdak kt blakang tuh.bkn men hepi!

Our next destination is place of romance..we rode on a water bus to get to Venice and getting there, we (the girls) have to take our luggage up and down the bridges to get to our we bridge..two bridges..three bridges..supposedly we only have to crossed 3 bridges, but then, we lost. turns our we're heading on the opposite direction. OMG! turning back?? we have to take our luggage back..4 more bridges to go..isk =( seb bek ade guys..tme kaseh ed, faiz, warid..u're our then, we reached the hostel, and guess what, the receptionist was on the very top level which is level 4!! Dem! and the flight of stairs upstairs...only God knows...dgn curamnye, tingginye, sume cukup. There's no lift/ escalator of course. And then the best part was when we reached the top, i got the news that me and my housemates' room is actually on the next building.. Q.Q we felt like crying! After all our efforts getting our luggage up there..isk..i was the last one getting down..and the receptionist saw me..then he said 'i think ur luggage weight more than u. come on, let me help u.leave it. i'll take ur luggage' hehhe....thank God..baek hati...fuh..Our room in the next building was actually a whole house.haha..we conquered the whole house to ourselves..best2.. :) Yeah, don't dream to use internet in Venice. It'll cost u 60euros per hour. no kidding. and the cheapest food u can get will costs u 15euros per menu. unless u only eat pizza which is only 5euros each.

I bought some masks in Venice, we rode a Gondola..and i have had a chance to control the Gondola yey!! and the gondola man said its only myth that all the gondola man will know how to sing.they don't.they only drive the instead, we sang in the gondola. along the ways, some tourists took our photos! haha..maybe we're a way too excited and were giggling, laughing, singing, and talking too much it captured everyone's attentions! ;P And yes, we had the best spaghetti ever in Venice! the taste of it still lingers in my mouth..Seafood Spaghetti with white sauce...omg...i wanna eat it again..someone pliz buy them for me? plis... Q.Q
venezia di waktu senja..

seafood spaghetti yg best gler..

rambang mate plih mask

Gondola ride~

We spent half a day at Milan whilst waiting for our next train to Zurich. Milan is indeed a high street place with all the branded shops and very city like. I don't like Milan.haha..i just bought a postcard from here.seryesly. enough of buildings.

Ray Ban anyone?

So sorry guys, these are some of the pictures that i have with me right now. Most of the pictures are still with ma and she's in Greece right now. I have to wait for her to come back to get the pics out of her Nikon D40 cam. hu...So, altogether, i think Venice and Florence are the best place to set ur feet on if u wanna go to Italy. Other places didn't interest me much. enough said.

Love you,

As a continuation to my previous entry, i will note down some of my 2008 Summer Trip's experiences that haven't escaped my forgetful mind yet. As my friends and I embarked on our journey on the 14th July 2008, i knew it was such a loss for me to forget bringing a notebook to jot down all my trips (as i didnt bring a laptop to write down my blog). However, having a selective memory, i've tried hard to remember every single interesting and unforgettable things that happen to me and all of us :)

1) Spain
Spain was our first destination. After spending a night a London Luton Airport, we flew to Madrid at 8am (maybe )and we reached Madrid at almost noon. The flight was smooth at the beginning but was getting worse towards the landing. I still remember d horrible landing with lots of bumping into clouds which send my stomach and heart out of my body. I have to grip tightly to the hand rest (although i knew it won't have change anything) and prayed silently in my heart for a safe landing. Added to that, one of my ears ached so much due to the differences in the air pressure and therefore i was really quiet and bearing the pain to myself until we landed in Madrid. Thanks God we manage to arrive safely in Madrid. phew.

From Madrid airport, we headed straight to the main train station to reserve our Eurorail Tickets for the journeys we are going to make throughout the Spain. We took a tube which took us almost one hour to reach the main train station. Luckily the tube's fares only costs us 1euro for each trip. hu...Then, our first surprised came...the total our tickets' reservation costs us almost 60euros for trips in Spain..We didn't expect this..i didn't know that we have to pay THAT much just for a reservation... T_T Anyway, as it's Summer, lots of people and tourists are coming in and hence raising the costs of everything to the max. uh hu..

I hate Madrid. After getting off the tube, i had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs...which were lotssss!!! They have no escalator of lift!! WTH! i kept on cursing throughout my way to the Eurorail office. haha..sorry can't help it tho ;p And the weather in Spain..OMG i tell u, its soaring up to 39 degrees! After a year and a half living in UK with all the windy and cold weather, we were greeted by 39 degrees weather..haha..luckily no one get sick and i have to drink a lot of water to prevent myself from getting dehydrated.

From Madrid, we went to Cordoba by Eurorail and reached Cordoba at about 7pm. That night, we're getting excited to watch the Flamenco dance and after leaving our luggage in our rooms, we headed straight to the Flamenco Dance place. It was held open air in place which is quite near to our hostel. Param param..we walked there and were really excited to enjoy the show. The show begins with a guitar playing by a Spanish guy. It sounds beautiful...and if u watched his's expert i tell u. whoa..then if follows by a Spanish lady singing the Spanish songs...then she duet with the Spanish guy..playing and singing Spanish songs again..i think the song is about a love story coz they played and sang so emotionally and whole-heartedly.haha.. again and again we waited..and the guys (Faiz, Edzlam, and Warid) 's heads all start coming down forward one-by-one..and i'm started to put my elbow on my knees to support my face..ahaha..where's the famous Flamenco Dance?? Shut btol la..tipah tertipu is getting late and we're getting hungry and tired.. and then we left even before the show ends..haha..

Frustrated with the show, we went and start our food searching..until almost 12pm...we couldn't find any open halal Kebab's shop nearby...isk.. T_T then at the end we just ate some ice-cream and slept with empty stomachs..isk..sian btul ktorg bek sempat bgamba malam2 ngn lampu2 yg cantik.hehe..and yes, another surprise. the 6 of us girls, we book a dorm for 8. and it happened to be that our 7th and 8th dorm mates are a girl and guy from England.haha..Rudy and Michael. Michael is studying in Uni Exeter and kacak jgak tak.first day da kne tdo sbilik ngn laki.phew.

The next day we went to Mezqita, which if im not mistaken was a once a mosque. It was really2 beautiful....i'll post the pix below and let it describe it for u..

Sevilla is d next place we went in Spain. We slept one night at Sevilla. Nothing much happened here..we just went for a walk to cover the city..and then took some photos..

All of us. this pix was taken by a Muslim friend we encountered
along d way

At Granada we spent also 1 night..We've visited Al-Hambra there..Al- Hambra was indeed a palace and fortress complex of the Moorish rulers of Granada in Southern spain (also known as Al-Andalus) . It was once the residence of the Muslim rulers and their court. In the 16th Century, the Christians invaded Spain and some of the Christians intervention can still be seen in buildings architecture and gardens marked in Al-Hambra. A very2 beautiful place..All the palaces have the jawi engravings on them..and yes, we do have another 2guys in our hostel at granada. peh. Luckily by the time the two guys entered our room, i have already fallen asleep. And by the time i left, the haven't woke up yet. tu la mnum arak byk sgt.yes,, they were drunk. my fren told me the two guys stink! ALhamdulillah those guys pandai cari katil mereka sendiri..which one is on my top bed.haha..i x sdar langsung mse mereka smpai. seryesly. too exhausted kot. low

Yes, i think that's all for now. Im tired now..if u wanna view more photos, wait for the next few weeks. i haven't took the photos from my frens' cameras yet. saba ye..hoho..

love you,

Alhamdulillah.. hani n frens slamat smpai ke plymouth at 10pm last night..everything went on smoothly..i was shocked to hear the news that my best friend's dad had passed away due to heart attack..he's in Australia and his family is in Malaysia.. It must be hard for him to accept...he's the eldest and i know how close he is to his buat ayahanda Mohd Ezuan Roslan...semoga allahyarham ditempatkan bersama para solehin..amin..

I'm not rili in d mood now. I'll post d next entries later.
